High Spec Village – Chapter 8

High Spec Village – Chapter 8

Sorry again for the late release, one of the projects of the company I work on got accepted, and therefore, I had my workload increased for a few days. I have only received one call today to send some documents, so I guess the worst has already passed. I wanted to finish this one way sooner, since many people were expecting something like traps. I giggled while reading those comments. Enjoy the chapter, I dont want to make promises, but…

High Spec Village – Chapter 7

Another close call, 11:38pm. Anyway, for those who missed yesterday’s post, I was busy with work so i couldn’t translate yesterday. Not much to say today, I was listening to stand-up comedy shows in netflix while translating, that was probably one of the reasons I didn’t finish this sooner. I hope you enjoy the chapter. Next chapter tomorrow if nothing happens at work. Chapter 7: The first step of the village reformation. After having breakfast and having finished the preparations,…

High Spec Village – Chapter 6

High Spec Village – Chapter 6

Barely safe! This chapter really felt long to translate, but I still managed to finished today (11:18 pm here) There are some idioms that are difficult for children to understand. At least 2 in this chapter. One is easier to understand so I left it almost as is (the words in japanese are what is difficult). The other one is 一宿一飯の恩, which reads as isshi ~yukuihhan, a difficult word. This translates as “accepting someone’s kindness”, but it comes from “gratitude towards…

High Spec Village – Chapter 5

High Spec Village – Chapter 5

I wish I could translate faster, I love the story and I want to share it faster and faster. Today I was late for work, I overslept hehehe, that hadn’t happened in quite a while, I guess I was really tired. For those wanting to get to the “kingdom building” and “modern knowledge” part already, in a couple chapters the village revitalization finally starts. Still, I’m loving the pace and the MC, that was the reason I decided to pick…

High Spec Village – Chapter 4

Well, I finished chapter 4 today :D, I was a bit under halfway through yesterday when  I posted the other 3 chapters, I hope you enjoy the story as much as I enjoy translating it. Next chapter is still twice as long as chapter 2, but I hope I can finish it soon. Your comments are appreciated, they are what keep me motivated after all. -Kari   Chapter 4: Urd, a village in distress. There was no attack from any…

High Spec Village – Chapter 3

High Spec Village – Chapter 3

So yeah, I planned to start posting the chapters when I had more. But the next chapters are longer, sometimes even 3 times the size of chapter 2. So I decided to start posting them as I go. As you can see, the number of segments for each chapter isn’t the same. But I’ll do my best. I hope that by posting them now, I’ll get more motivated to translate more. Sometimes I just idle around, so this might work….

High Spec Village – Chapter 2

Chapter 2: Encounter with people from the other world. It’s been about an hour since I started walking through this unknown forest. I keep following the same direction with the help of the compass I always carry around, and I’m sure of the time, since I measured it with my wrist watch. This is obviously a different world, but the actions one takes in a forest are the same as on Earth. I keep on moving forwards, while being wary…

High Spec Village – Chapter 1

Chapter 1: When I noticed, I was here. I was wrapped by a dazzling light. (Where is this place…? ) I was suddenly standing inside an unknown forest. Until a moment ago I was on my way to climb a local mountain. It was a famous mountain to which I was familiar with from a young age, and one which I’ve climbed many times. (Did I get lost!? No, that’s not it) What I was climbing was a local mountain, in…
